What a great start to our summer term. We are really lucky to have a dancer in for year three on a Monday, you should see our children swing! Watch this space for the photographs...
Also, this week we have been looking at poetry about daffodils. The children have performed 'I wandered lonely as a cloud' and they have produced a piece of art work inspired by the poem.
Watch this space for photographs but even better still, come and see it in our upcoming Art festival at St. Mary's church.
What a busy half term we have had! Another visit to the World Museum, this time to find out about Ancient Egypt, what a lovely time we had handling the artefacts..
We have also been using our time tables knowledge to help us with division and now fractions. The children have played 'Snake Pits' on number lines labelled in steps of half.
I hope you all have a lovely Easter. Please remember to keep reading, a little often and keep learning your 2,4,5,8,10 times tables.
Welcome to Year 3. What a fantastic start!
