All Things Spanish

Hola everybody,

We hope you had a restful holiday.

In September we have planned a very interesting and exiting day for all the children at Arnot St Mary.

Next Friday, the 26th, we are going to celebrate “International Day of Languages”.

Some parents have volunteered to offer some workshops where they are going to tell the children some interesting facts and stories about their culture and where they come from.

We are sure it is going to be an enjoyable day!

Hasta pronto.

Hola!

Today we have celebrated "International Day of Languages"

It has been an amazing day with parents and pupils working together in our festival  of languages and culture.

We have had many workshops presenting activities (art, music, cuisine, traditions and language) led by the parents and the pupils themselves.

Countries showcased on the day included: Turkey, Poland, Yemen, Shri-Lanka, China, Hungary, Netherlands, Gambia, Nigeria, Mexico, Finland and Spain

We extend our thanks to all those who took part for providing such a highly interesting and informative day.

The success of this event is due to them.

Here are some photos of pupils from Y1 and Y2.

Look out in the next few days for more pictures which I will be posting onto the blog.

MUCHAS GRACIAS A TODOS!

Teresa Miller
