Children form Year 6 are going on a trip to Barcelona on Sunday 8th June, follow their adventure below.
We have arrived safely in Calafell. We spent a fantastic afternoon on the beach and in the hotel pool. Everyone is well fed, happy and safely in bed. View the photographs of our day below.
The children have enjoyed another brilliant day of their holiday. Today we visited Montserrat and the monastery up in the hills before vising the Cava factory. There are some photographs below. We will continue to add more as often as we can. If you would like to comment on these pictures, feel free to visit our Twitter page which is @ArnotStMary .
Year 6 enjoyed a very busy day in Barcelona today. The day began with a visit to the beautiful La Parc Guell designed by Antoni Gaudi. A tour of the city followed, which enabled the children to view some of the Barcelona landmarks, before they took a walk up Las Ramblas and visited the famous indoor market.
The afternoon saw the children visit the Nou Camp- home of Barcelona Football Club. Here they were able to walk at pitch-side, visit the changing rooms and press rooms and take a tour of the museum. A very full day was finished off with a trip to the beach where some of the children took part in a frenetic game of beach football. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and, once again, they were a credit to themselves with their behaviour. Today we visited PortAventura. Year 6 had an exciting day riding on various rollercoasters and watching some fabulous shows. During their busy day, some children took the time to speak about how they were finding their holiday so far. These videos can be seen below. Photographs of the day are to follow. Our day at PortAventura was so action packed, we've needed to add even more photographs.
Today is the last day of our trip. The children spent the morning relaxing by the pool and plating games. After lunch they explored the area around Calafell and did some shopping before heading to the beach to meet up with children from a local Spanish school. They all spent the afternoon helping each other with their languages and playing organised games on the beach. Photographs can be seen below. Feel free to send your messages or comments to us on our Twitter page @ArnotStMary .We will see you all tomorrow.
