To celebrate World Teachers' Day, our Year 6 school council team sent little thank you notes around to all of the teachers in the school. Some of them thanked teachers for all of their hard work and others praised teachers for some of their wonderful displays around school. The notes were read out to the teachers to embarrass them and they had their pictures taken.
4NB held a wonderful harvest festival assembly in school and invited their parents to join us.
Our whole school have been very generous and donated lots of packets and tins for our collection. This will be going to our local Foodbank which will help and support lots of families. Thank you to all our families for being kind and supportive.
Today our year 6 children delivered a wonderful and heart-warming assembly about remembrance. Every child in Year 1-6 made their own poppy and wore it to the assembly as a sign of respect. We had special visitors from our local community and some soldiers to watch out assembly and joined the children for tea/coffee and biscuits afterwards.
Week beginning 14th November was Anti-Bullying week. We called it forgiveness week and focused on people saying sorry and meaning it!
We also met up with different year groups for a new buddy system in school.
