Spellow Library visit
Today we went to Spellow Lane library and had a look at some books. We are all going to join and get our own library cards.
On Thursday we went on our school trip to Central Library and Walker Art gallery.
We had lots of fun on the double decker bus and even got the chance to sit upstairs.
Our favourite part was going onto the roof of the library to see the view of Liverpool.
A big thank you to Councillor Gerard Woodhouse for his kind donations of books to our Early Years. The children enjoyed reading them with their parents and carers this week when they joined us for our Reading workshops.
We have had a great start to spring 2 and the children are settling into a new routine!
We have been learning how to take away from a bigger number in our maths lessons and have been singing "5 little ducks " song to help us.
We have been reading Farmer duck in our English lessons and learning how to label the different parts of farm animals.
We we had the opportunity to visit the nursery to have a look at the duck eggs they are looking after. We are all waiting for them to hatch and we can see how they grow.
Happy New Year! We hope that you have had a lovely Christmas holiday!
