Thankfulness week (anti-bullying) 11th - 15th November 2019
Anti-bullying week is recognised in primary and secondary school across the country. We have decided to call it Thankfulness week as it is linked to our Christian value and we are promoting kindness, friendship, happiness and respect. Children will look at how to be a good friend to others, how to make people happy and what to do if someone isn't being a good friend to them and who they can speak to if they are unhappy.
During the week we will be reading a story called The Pig of Happiness which will emphasise how we can spread happiness and make others around us happy.
On Tuesday 12th November children can come to school wearing odd socks. It's an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us unique.
Please keep checking Twitter as we will be adding lots of photographs of all the exciting activities we will be doing. @ArnotStMary
