Some ideas/ activities for our 2's and their families to do together at home.

Whilst reading/listening to the story together ask your child who, what, where questions e.g. Where is the her?
What can you see?
Talk about what is happening on each page, what are they children doing?
Help develop your child's vocabulary talking together
Nursery Home Learning
We were going to write a letter to Father Christmas or Tinkerbell to say thank you for our presents. This video shows a little dog, Pippin and his adventures sending a letter.

Children who are 3 now and still 3 in September (Rising 3s), please go on a sound walk together. This could be indoors or out, listen and talk about what you can hear.

Count up to 10 in order.
Children to separate a group of 3 or 4 objects in different way, noticing that the total stays the same.
You can do this with anything at all! Keep recounting every time and support children by putting objects in a line to check ( line style).
