Ash Wednesday is when Lent begins. People may have a cross of ash traced on their foreheads. This reminds us of our mortality and need to be reconciled with God. During Lent we to try to change and become better versions of ourselves. We do this by trying to be more like Jesus.

This morning we started Children’s Mental Health Week with an assembly led by Mrs Buffel-Morland. We explored our Christian value of ‘Courage’, and the children were set some challenges for the rest of the week to encourage kindness and wellbeing.
